Donna Ferguson is a multiple award-winning freelance journalist, mainly for The Guardian and The Observer in the UK.

 

She writes news and features about a wide range of topics, including arts and culture, history, nature, science, lifestyle trends, education and personal finance, and often interviews celebrities for newspapers and magazines.

 

She is a committee member of Women in Journalism, an organisation which campaigns to increase equality and diversity in journalism, and regularly gives freelance masterclasses to journalists and journalism students.

 

She has won eight awards for her journalism and has been shortlisted for more than 30 others, including most recently Best News Story and Freelance Journalist of the Year.

 

She is based in Cambridge in the UK with her family.
